Published December 3, 2025

This publication takes an honest and evidence-based look at some of the most common misunderstandings that can prevent clinicians from fully engaging in patient experience efforts—and, in turn, from realizing the positive impact these practices have on quality, safety, and outcomes.

By reframing these myths through evidence and practical insight, they offer five corresponding truths that demonstrate why experience is not an “extra,” but an essential component of delivering quality, compassionate care.
