The Institute's councils and committees provide thoughtful and critical guidance to develop strategies for enhanced engagement in the broader patient experience movement as well as inform the efforts of the Institute.

Strategic Advisory Board

The Strategic Advisory Board provides practical advice on strategy, growth opportunities and future plans, along with valuable insights into market and industry trends.

PX Advisory Board

The PX Advisory Board ensures the Institute has a finger on the pulse of the critical issues influencing experience efforts.

Global Patient and Family Advisory Board

The Global Patient and Family Advisory Board ensures the voices of patients and families are a central consideration in the strategic direction and offerings of the Institute.

Solutions Advisory Board

The Solutions Advisory Board serves to integrate market intelligence and insights into the strategic and tactical direction of the Institute.

PX Policy Forum Board

PXPF is led by a balanced board of Patient/Family Partners and senior patient experience leaders working to help shape policy on issues that directly elevate the human experience in healthcare.

Patient Experience Journal Editorial Board

The Patient Experience Journal Editorial Board helps frame the direction of the journal, maintain rigorous standards and provide a line of sight to the future

Ambulatory Care Council

The Ambulatory Care Council is a group of individuals committed to expanding content and engagement of leaders represented in ambulatory care environments within The Beryl Institute Community.

Conference Planning Committee

The conference planning committee advises on content, format and logistics to help ensure ELEVATE PX remains a relevant and enjoyable experience for participants.

Global Council

The Global Council of The Beryl Institute is comprised of individuals committed to elevating the conversation on human experience and expanding the global experience movement.

Nurse Executive Council

The Nurse Executive Council work collaboratively with the Institute to develop a strategy for nurse leader engagement in the broader patient experience movement.

Patient Advocacy Council

The Patient Advocacy Council advises on content, programs and other resources to support the evolving role of Patient Advocates.

Pediatric Council

The Pediatric Council is committed to sharing ideas and expanding the engagement of pediatric patient experience leaders in the Institute community.

Physican Council

The Physician Council is committed to sharing ideas and expanding the engagement of physicians in the Institute community.

Standing Committee on Equity and Inclusion

The Standing Committee on Equity and Inclusion is a diverse and inclusive team driving the Institute’s commitment to dismantle systemic racism and tackle disparities in healthcare and to move us with intention from words to action on these critical issues.

Volunteer Professionals Council

The Volunteer Professionals Council is a group of individuals committed to engaging with one another, sharing ideas and expanding the engagement of individuals leading healthcare volunteer programs in The Beryl Institute Community.
