PFACs: Where’s the Money? The Financial Impact on Hospitals

Since the first Patient and Family Advisory Councils (PFACs) were started in the late 1990s, more than 2,000 hospitals have launched a PFAC. Based on research and findings from an administered survey and an examination of existing PFAC data, the report provides further recommendations for action and gives ten practical applications for starting and sustaining a successful PFAC.
