It has been almost a year since the killing of George Floyd. His death sparked protests around the world, made even more significant as the world found itself in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, the pandemic itself placed a powerful spotlight on the problem of inequities in healthcare overall. May 2020 sparked a renewed wave of awareness about how much systems and policies have impacted people of color, especially Black Americans and how a lack of action has perpetuated deeply rooted realities. In the last year we have seen a greater willingness to talk about systemic racism and a greater commitment to what it will take to it, but how far have we come and where must we still go? Join a dynamic panel of experts, Dr. Ron Wyatt and Nikki Montgomery, facilitated by Jason Wolf, President & CEO of The Beryl Institute as they explore this question and more.
