The Power of Self-Healing: Improving Experience Through Mindfulness

According to the U.S. National Institute, nursing is identified as one of the most stressful careers, and mindfulness has been identified as a technique for managing stress in the nursing profession. Supported by a research grant from The Beryl Institute, a doctoral scholar examines the impact of mindfulness training of staff nurses, patients and families in achieving a successful transition from rehabilitation to the home environment.
