Engaging Physicians in CAHPS Improvement
Published February 4, 2013
Richard Corder, FACHE, MHA, Assistant Vice President, CRICO Strategies
CAHPS surveys have created a focus on the patient experience among hospital leaders like never before. Physician leaders and colleagues now have the opportunity to examine role specific data and compare ratings nationally. Using data to drive change can be exciting; especially when that change results in a safer place to receive and practice care. This session will illustrate how to engage clinicians and other members of the care team and how to use data (including H and CG-CAHPS) as a catalyst for systematic culture change.
