An Upstream Solution to Advance Physician Engagement

Burnout is growing amongst residents, faculty and physicians. Alarmingly, it is jeopardizing our ability to ensure each patient receives the best healthcare experience and is affecting our ability to retain a high-performing medical staff. We have worked to rewrite the playbook for supporting physicians in the early stages of their career, as faculty mentors and physician leaders, to build a more resilient medical staff that finds joy and purpose in their work. This session will dive into the design principles for establishing the Center for Physician Leadership, curriculum priorities, coaching to advance skills and evaluation outcomes.
