Healthcare Roots and a Creative Spirit

Coming from a family of physicians, I always knew I wanted to be part of the healthcare industry. My childhood was filled with stories of hard work, dedication, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. At 16, I began working at my dad’s gastroenterology practice scanning and filing medical records. While it may have seemed like a small contribution, the experience gave me valuable insight into the healthcare experience from both the patient and physician perspectives.

After earning my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Florida, I realized clinical care was not the right path for me (I did not like blood or needles!), But I quickly discovered another way to contribute to the industry. I found my passion in healthcare marketing and communications, with the goal of helping make healthcare more accessible and understandable for patients and families.

Outside of work, I am a proud dog mom to my sweet chihuahua mix, Stanley. We enjoy long walks, spending time at the beach and dock, and relaxing together at the end of the day.

I also love attending concerts and listening to live music. My favorite genres include alternative rock, R&B, electronic, and jam bands. One of my bucket-list goals is to attend a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver, Colorado.

Sports have always been a big part of my life as well. I’m a lifelong Florida Gator, and watching the men’s basketball team win the national championship in 2025 will always be one of my favorite memories. It’s great to be a Florida Gator!

I also enjoy traveling. One of my favorite travel memories was exploring Europe in the summer of 2024. My favorite destination was Switzerland, specifically Interlaken, where I hiked Harder Kulm with friends, went paragliding, and enjoyed delicious fondue at our hostel. My next adventure….Croatia!
