2pm UTC / 10am ET / 9am CT / 8am MT / 7am PT – WMTY.world monthly meetings are a space for exchanging experiences, connecting with others, and exploring the art of asking, listening, and doing what really matters to people. Join the conversation to share stories, celebrate successes, and learn from challenges as we work together to bring the spirit of “What Matters to You?” into health and social care settings.

“What Matters in Custody?” – Learning from HMP Maghaberry’s Peer Mentor Network

Join Dr Ruth Grey and Barry Rooney as they share the story of the Ask HIM Peer Mentor Network and Hub at HMP Maghaberry. Co-produced with men in custody, this award-winning programme supports people in the crucial first 48 hours of prison—connecting them with healthcare, demystifying systems, and building hope.

With over 4000 engagement encounters and 1100+ referrals, the programme has transformed access to care, improved wellbeing, and built a supportive, inter-agency mentor network grounded in what matters most. A powerful example of how listening, partnership, and lived experience can shape public health—inside and beyond prison walls.

WMTY.world monthly meetings are complimentary. This meeting does not offer patient experience continuing education credit (PXEs).
