Enhancing the Great Expectations Program to Impact Overall Patient Experience

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a comprehensive, family-centered Great Expectations pathway on customer service, satisfaction and patient experience. Using an evidenced-based practice approach, Good Shepherd Medical Center Women’s & Children’s Services in Longview, TX promoted enhancing the current Great Expectations program to support and foster a more positive patient experience from prenatal care to delivery through the return home.
