With its focus on reducing preventable disparities in patient experience, the Patient Experience Policy Forum’s Measurement and Reporting Workgroup calls for healthcare to mandate the collection of self-reported patient data specific to race, ethnicity or primary language (REaL) and sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI).
