Who is this for?

This certificate program is for those ready to cultivate a deeper knowledge of patient experience concepts, practices and leadership skills.

Criteria For Completion

  • Completion of all BOK courses. Each course to include:
    • An on-demand learning session providing comprehensive content overview
    • A facilitated virtual class offering the ability to discuss practical application

Each course is eligible for a minimum of 2 Patient Experience Continuing Education Credits (PXEs) through Patient Experience Institute.

Class Calendar

Participation in a facilitated virtual class offers the ability to apply the key concepts and principles explored in the on-demand learning session. Please view the full class calendar to assist in your planning. Class size is limited and a minimum number of participants is required to hold each virtual class.

Classes are scheduled using your profile on the PXLearning site. You will receive access information for the site within two business days after payment is received for your program.

Certificate vs. Certification

A certificate confirms that you completed a specific course or program of study (a sequence of courses). Certificates are usually awarded by educational institutions, and they are used to demonstrate knowledge and skills in a particular subject area.

In comparison, certification is a process by which you verify that you have the required skills, knowledge and ability to perform a specific job. It involves meeting specific requirements, such as completing a certain amount of education or training, passing an exam, and meeting ongoing continuing education requirements.
