Strategies to Improve Nurse to Family Member Communication about Critically Ill Patients

The purpose of this research was to develop, implement and evaluate an ICU nurse communication intervention using feedback from nurses and family members of ICU patients. This report is based on research conducted at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.
